Born in Veroli, Gerardo Iacoucci is a mysterious figure in the history of Italian music. A notable jazz pianist and the founder of the Scuola Popolare di Musica di Testaccio in Rome, he is arguably most widely know for his contributions to the strange world of Library Music, producing some of its most memorable and distinct artifacts, among the most sought after of which is his 1972 LP Industria N.1.
